Hanoi Women's Volleyball Club aims for a new milestone with new sponsor

According to the agreement, Tasco Auto will accompany Hanoi Women's Volleyball Club for 5 years, supporting the team to improve professional quality and develop sustainably.

Hanoi Women's Volleyball is a familiar name in the domestic volleyball world. In 2023, the team won the national A-class championship and won the right to play in the National Championship in 2024. However, due to the young and inexperienced team, 1 year later, the team returned to A-class.

Speaking at the launching ceremony of the Hanoi-Tasco Auto Women's Volleyball Club, Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Bach Lien Huong said that this is an important stepping stone to develop the team and aim for higher goals in the future. According to Ms. Bach Lien Huong, volleyball in particular and Hanoi sports in general need to aim for regional and world arenas.

Director of Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Bach Lien Huong affirmed that sports will be facilitated to develop, thereby promoting the movement of health training in the community.

In recent times, the locality has created favorable conditions in terms of mechanisms and policies and will continue to promote them to help develop sports, thereby spreading a beautiful image internationally, while encouraging the movement of health training in the community, improving the stature of Vietnamese people.

Chairwoman of the Hanoi Volleyball Federation, Ms. Tran Thuy Chi, said this is the first time the Hanoi women's volleyball team has had official and long-term support from a large enterprise. This is a milestone that helps the team have a solid foundation for professional development.

In the immediate future, the Hanoi Volleyball Federation will promote fundraising and support clubs to improve quality.

In the plan to develop both men's and women's volleyball, Hanoi will increase training and competitions domestically and internationally, possibly in countries strong in volleyball such as Thailand and South Korea.
