The Ministry of Education and Training has reported on the consequences of storm No. 10 on schools in provinces and cities.
Fortunately, there were no casualties in the localities, however, many facilities and schools were severely damaged.
In Ha Tinh, the Department of Education and Training reported that 412 educational establishments have been affected to date, with total estimated damage of about 430 billion VND. Of these, preschool, primary and secondary schools are the most affected.

After the storm, many schools were devastated and need time to repair and restore. The Ha Tinh education department decided to temporarily suspend students from going to school to ensure their safety and to date, schools have not reopened.
In Nghe An, the Department of Education and Training reviewed and reported that 483 schools at all levels were affected with a total damage of about 300 billion VND. Of these, there were 123 kindergartens, 130 primary schools, 122 secondary schools and 108 high schools. The storm also disrupted the teaching and learning of teachers and students in this locality.
Hue City also has 134 schools heavily affected by storm No. 10. According to estimates, the total damage to infrastructure caused by the storm in this locality is more than 1.1 billion VND. Schools in Hue City have allowed students to attend school normally, only 29 schools/schools in low-lying areas were flooded and had to temporarily close.
In addition, provinces such as Quang Tri and Thanh Hoa said that so far, storms have caused many schools to lose roofs, collapse fences, and topple trees. These localities are also allowing students to stay home from school to ensure safety.
