Establishment of a steering committee for electricity supply management

The People's Committee of Quang Ninh province has just issued Decision No. 1508 to establish a steering committee for electricity supply. In this decision, Vu Van Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee is the head of the committee; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tinh - Director of Quang Ninh Electricity is the permanent deputy head of the committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien - Director of the Provincial Department of Industry and Trade is the deputy head of the committee. Members of the steering committee include leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches, and local authorities.

The main task of the Steering Committee for Electricity Supply in Quang Ninh province is to build and operate a mechanism for leadership, direction and synchronous management of electricity saving, efficient use of electricity and electricity saving solutions of the Central and the province. In addition, grasp the situation of electricity production and electricity consumption in the area, especially during the peak tourist season to advise the Quang Ninh provincial government to report and propose to the central ministries, branches, Vietnam Electricity Group... to prioritize maximum power supply capacity to ensure people's lives, stabilize production and business.
