The province has issued many programs and plans to promote civilized and modern urban development. Specifically: Urban development program for the period 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2030; Plan to implement the Provincial Urban Development Program to 2025... At the same time, solving bottlenecks in site clearance, improving the efficiency of using investment resources inside and outside the budget, prioritizing capital allocation for key projects and works, creating a spillover effect to promote trade and services. In addition, the province directed sectors and localities to implement solutions to support investors in overcoming difficulties, creating clean land funds to attract projects, supporting early implementation of projects, building synchronous and connected infrastructure, increasing the urbanization rate of the province, opening up opportunities to exploit the potential and advantages of tourism, service and urban development in the area.
The Department of Construction and relevant agencies have advised the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to deploy many solutions to ensure consistency and unity in the management of the province's urban development sector. In particular, focusing on a number of key tasks such as: Urban renovation, embellishment, and reconstruction; urban development towards green growth and smart urban areas; Building preferential and specific mechanisms and policies to attract investment, creating resources for new urban development; priority policies to encourage the application of sustainable urban development models, implementing national goals in new urban development towards green and smart urban areas; Improving the quality of planning, planning management, infrastructure investment, attracting urban development projects; Developing the real estate market, reviewing urban land funds with advantages in trade and services to auction land use rights for people to build houses according to regulations, creating resources for infrastructure investment, urban development...
Along with implementing investment and construction according to regulations for projects such as: Ecopark, Vinhomes Ocean Park 2, V-GreenCity Pho Noi, Kien Giang urban area, Dong Hoa new urban area, recently, the province has started the project of urban complex, eco-tourism , Khoai Chau golf course with a planning area of over 990 hectares, total investment capital of about 1.5 billion USD... Commercial housing and social housing development projects are being actively implemented in suitable locations, meeting the needs of socio-economic development and living needs of the people. Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Green i-Park Joint Stock Company, infrastructure investor of Lien Ha Thai industrial park, said: The Provincial People's Committee has been showing great determination in removing difficulties, accompanying investors, and strongly promoting the development of social housing. The province has planned many locations for social housing development; including 16 independent land positions with large areas, convenient for implementing social housing projects exclusively for workers and low-income people. This is a golden opportunity for investors with long-term vision, to participate early in this potential market but still "thirsty" for supply. Up to now, the urbanization rate of the province has reached over 34%.
