Removing obstacles for Huu Thanh Industrial Park

After listening to the proposals and recommendations of Huu Thanh Industrial Park (Duc Hoa commune), Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board Truong Thanh Liem emphasized that the Board always supports and creates favorable conditions throughout the operation process and proactively coordinates closely with related units to remove related obstacles.

The working delegation of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board led by Head Truong Thanh Liem, Deputy Heads and specialized departments recently had a working session with IDICO Corporation (investor of Huu Thanh Industrial Park) to grasp the situation as well as the advantages and difficulties in the operation process.

Huu Thanh Industrial Park has a total planning area of ​​more than 524 hectares, of which industrial land is more than 395 hectares.

Up to now, Huu Thanh Industrial Park has attracted 59 investors, including 18 domestic investors with a total registered investment capital of VND4,647 billion and 41 FDI investors with a registered investment capital of more than USD703 million.

However, during the operation process, the zone also encountered some difficulties: the proposal to grant investment licenses to customers in areas where the zone is completing infrastructure construction has not been implemented; the reciprocal tax policy issued by the United States is causing many difficulties in attracting investment;...

Based on the recommendations and proposals of Huu Thanh Industrial Park, Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board Truong Thanh Liem emphasized: "The Board shares the difficulties that businesses encounter during their operations and proactively inspects and reviews; at the same time, supports the resolution in accordance with the provisions of law. In addition, regarding the issue of counterpart taxes, the Board will advise the Provincial People's Committee, promptly and fully inform businesses so that they can grasp and be flexible in attracting investment."
