On July 21, the Academy of Journalism and Communication announced the minimum scores for receiving applications and the conversion tables for standard scores between admission methods. According to these conversion tables, the difference between exam scores and academic records is divided into many ranges, the lower the score range, the higher the difference.

The original method is to consider graduation exam scores, the converted methods are to consider academic records and combined methods.

The minimum score for the 2025 high school graduation exam for majors calculated on a 30-point scale is 18, and for majors calculated on a 40-point scale is 25.

In the group of majors considered on a scale of 30, the conversion table is divided into 6 score ranges. The lower the score range, the higher the difference between the exam score and the transcript. For example, at range 1, the transcript review score from 21.95 to 23.58 will be equivalent to about 18 to 20 points of the 2025 high school graduation exam (a difference of nearly 4 points). The Academy of Journalism and Propaganda enrolls students in 4 ways: considering academic records, considering candidates with international certificates in English IELTS or SAT, considering 2025 high school graduation exam scores, and direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

With the method of considering the 2025 high school graduation exam scores, the school uses the following 4 combinations: math, literature, English (D01); literature, English, economic and legal education (C14), literature, English, information technology (X79), literature, English, history (C03). Depending on each group of majors, the above combinations are set on a 30 or 40-point scale. With a 40-point scale, there is 1 subject with a coefficient of 2 (either literature, history, or English, depending on the group of majors).
