Major General Le Ngoc Chau holds the position of Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee

On the afternoon of September 4, the 25th session (special session) of the 17th Hai Duong Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, took place to elect the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the conference, Mr. Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province, presented a proposal to introduce Mr. Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, to be elected as Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Delegates attending the meeting elected the position of Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee by secret ballot.

As a result, with 100% absolute votes (54/54), delegates elected Mr. Le Ngoc Chau to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

The Provincial People's Council has passed a resolution confirming the election results for the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term XVII, 2021-2026; assigned the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council to complete procedures and submit to the Prime Minister for approval according to regulations.

On the same afternoon, Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee held a conference to implement the decision of the Central Secretariat on personnel work.

At the conference, the representative of the Central Organizing Committee announced the decision of the Secretariat to allow Major General Le Ngoc Chau, member of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Commander of the Mobile Police Command, to cease holding the position of member of the Central Public Security Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

The Secretariat's decision to transfer and appoint Major General Le Ngoc Chau to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
