Phu Thanh village, Mo O commune received the title of new rural standard

This morning, November 6, the people and cadres of Phu Thanh village, Mo O commune, Dakrong district, Quang Tri province organized the National Great Unity Day, the Military-Civilian Cultural Day and received the title of achieving new rural standards. Phu Thanh village has a natural area of ​​168.8 hectares, 137 households, 490 people, agricultural laborers account for about 85%. Implementing the movement to build new rural areas, local officials and people are united, join hands to implement, at the same time compete for leadership from superiors, investment from many resources to invest in completing infrastructure such as building 1.8 km of new village roads, maintaining and repairing Khe Luoi Cau irrigation works, upgrading 1.2 km of canals...

In economic development and sustainable poverty reduction, Phu Thanh people focus on renovating mixed gardens, building many production and livestock models in the direction of goods for high economic efficiency. The whole village has 36 production, business and service establishments; 100% of households use electricity for lighting and have audio-visual equipment, participate in health insurance, use clean and hygienic water; 100% of school-age students go to school, no dropouts.

The average income per capita of the village reached 27.5 million VND/person/year; by the end of 2023, Phu Thanh still had 3 poor households according to multidimensional standards and 7 near-poor households, with no more temporary houses.

On August 19, 2024, the People's Committee of Dakrong district issued Decision No. 2343/QD-UBND recognizing Phu Thanh village as meeting the new rural standards in a particularly difficult commune in 2023.

Speaking at the ceremony, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Ly Kieu Van praised and congratulated the results of new rural construction of Phu Thanh village, and hoped that Dakrong district, Mo O commune in general and Phu Thanh village in particular would promote good traditions and achievements, continue to encourage people to strengthen the strength of great solidarity, and successfully complete the local political, economic, cultural and social tasks.

Promote patriotic emulation movements among the people; encourage and motivate advanced models, outstanding collectives and individuals, creating new motivation for emulation. Continue to mobilize resources from the community to care for and help the poor and those in especially difficult circumstances; promote the spirit of mutual love and mutual assistance in economic development, production and business experience, and legal enrichment.

At the same time, promoting revolutionary tradition, cultural identity, strength of great solidarity, determination to build Phu Thanh village, Mo O commune and all residential areas in Dakrong district to become more and more prosperous and beautiful.
