Tuoi Tho Kindergarten, Long Truong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City has just sent an official document to the student's family in the incident of their child being slapped by a teacher, which was posted on social media by the parents.
According to the school's response to parents, based on current regulations and Ms. TVTNh's violations in the incident, on September 12, the school issued a disciplinary decision to reprimand Ms. Nh. for 12 months.

In addition, this teacher was suspended from teaching; performed other tasks as assigned by the principal; and was not entitled to enjoy the special regimes and policies of preschool teachers directly teaching in class.
As for the child, the parents said that at this time, the child still refuses to go back to school. The family is considering whether to continue sending the child to Tuoi Tho Kindergarten or transfer to another school.
As Dan Tri reported, on the night of September 16, on her personal page, Ms. TT, in Long Truong ward, Ho Chi Minh City, shared information that her daughter in the Choi class (4 years old) was abused by a preschool teacher, along with a photo of the child's cheek showing a clear handprint.
When they learned that their child had been slapped by teacher TVT during mealtime on August 1, the family took the child to the doctor and was diagnosed with soft tissue injury on the left cheek, with large bruises and swelling due to a hand strike on the cheek. In addition, the child was also psychologically frightened, cried a lot, and was afraid to go to school.
When Ms. T.'s family reacted, the school and Ms. Nh. said that Ms. Nh. would proactively resign, hoping that the parents would withdraw their complaint about the incident. At that time, the school also sent Ms. T. a resignation letter from Ms. Nh.
However, when Ms. T. sent her child back to school, she learned that Ms. Nh. was still working at the school. Seeing Ms. Nh., her daughter was scared and refused to go to school. After that, Ms. T. temporarily let her child stay home, waiting for the school to handle the situation, but did not receive an answer about how to discipline Ms. Nh.
After 1.5 months since the incident, but seeing no action from the school to deal with the teacher who abused the child, Ms. T. decided to share the information on social media.
Regarding the lack of information about Ms. Nh.'s disciplinary action to parents, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, Principal of Tuoi Tho Kindergarten, said that the school had decided to discipline Ms. Nh. on September 12 but had not yet organized a meeting to announce it because Ms. Nh. was on sick leave.
According to Ms. TVTNh.'s report, at lunchtime on August 1, baby NL did not want to eat, pushed the rice bowl away and tried to vomit. Ms. Nh. changed the rice bowl twice for the baby, but when she saw that the baby was still vomiting, she got angry and slapped the baby in the face.
“When she saw a red mark on the child’s cheek, she applied ice. In the afternoon, when the child’s grandfather picked her up, she accidentally did not tell him,” the female teacher wrote in her report.
