State budget revenue in 4 months reached more than 43% of estimate

Total state budget revenue in April 2024 is estimated at 175.6 trillion VND; cumulative total state budget revenue in the first four months of 2024 is estimated at 733.4 trillion VND, equal to 43.1% of the year's estimate and up 10.1% over the same period last year.

Total state budget revenue in the first four months of 2024 is estimated at 733.4 trillion VND, equal to 43.1% of the year's estimate and up 10.1% over the same period last year.

Information from the General Statistics Office released on April 29 shows that domestic revenue is estimated at 629.9 trillion VND, equal to 43.6% of the year's estimate and up 12.9% over the same period last year. Of which, revenue from crude oil is estimated at 21.2 trillion VND, equal to 46.2% of the year's estimate and up 0.6%; budget balance revenue from import-export activities is estimated at 82.2 trillion VND, equal to 40.3% of the year's estimate and down 5.7%.

Also according to the General Statistics Office, total state budget expenditure in April 2024 is estimated at 138.4 trillion VND; accumulated expenditure in the first four months of 2024 is estimated at 522 trillion VND, equal to 24.6% of the year's estimate and an increase of 4.4% over the same period last year.

Of which, regular expenditure is estimated at 366 trillion VND, equal to 29.1% of the annual estimate and up 3% over the same period last year; development investment expenditure is 115.9 trillion VND, equal to 17.1% and up 4.8%; equal to 35.7% and up 17.4%.

"State budget expenditure ensures the needs of socio-economic development, national defense, security, state management, payment of due debts as well as timely payment to subjects according to regulations," the report of the General Statistics Office stated.
