According to the Ambassador, the Belarus - Vietnam Business Forum is an opportunity for businesses of the two countries to meet, exchange and sign strategic contracts. With the participation of nearly 50 multi-industry businesses of Belarus, from food, industry to high technology, and Vietnamese partners, the forum will create sustainable and effective connections.

“This event is even more meaningful as it was held after General Secretary To Lam’s historic visit to Belarus in May 2025. The visit not only strengthened political relations but also opened up unprecedented economic cooperation opportunities,” Ambassador Nguyen Van Trung emphasized.

According to Mr. Hoang Minh Chien, Vietnam and Belarus have a long-standing traditional friendship, nurtured by political trust and substantive cooperation in many fields. In trade, the two economies are clearly complementary: Vietnam has strengths in agricultural products, aquatic products, consumer goods, textiles, and wooden products, while Belarus stands out in machinery, equipment, fertilizers, and high technology.

This combination creates a mutually beneficial value chain, expanding the market not only within the two countries, but also reaching out to the Asia-Europe and Southeast Asia regions.
