According to Tuoi Tre Online , vegetarian foods and beverages have been sold in a variety of designs and types at stores and supermarkets, meeting the increasing demands of diners.

Being vegetarian is easier and more convenient than ever.

At the end of the working day, Ms. Pham Thi Tu (living in Binh Thanh District) quickly stopped by the Co.opmart supermarket near her office to shop and prepare dinner for her family.

Ms. Tu shared that her family has maintained the habit of eating vegetarian food during the 7th lunar month for many years. However, with a busy lifestyle, she cannot always prepare elaborate and nutritious vegetarian meals for the whole family. Therefore, she often visits Co.opmart supermarket to buy pre-prepared vegetarian dishes such as vegetarian spare ribs, vegetarian head sausage, or dumplings.

"In the past, finding vegetarian food was not easy, only specialized vegetarian stores sold it. But now most large supermarkets have a full range of vegetarian foods, making preparing vegetarian meals for the month much simpler and more convenient," said Ms. Tu.

She also said that having a wide selection of vegetarian products at the supermarket helps reduce her stress because she wants to ensure her whole family has delicious yet nutritious meals.

Not only the elderly, many young people also choose to be vegetarian during Vu Lan season to show their gratitude. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa (24 years old, living in District 5) believes that being vegetarian is not only a cultural beauty but also helps purify the body and soul. Hoa often chooses reputable supermarkets such as Co.opmart to buy fresh ingredients, ensuring safety for health.

"I'm worried after reading information about the quality of vegetarian food in the news recently, so I always prioritize shopping at reputable places and cooking at home" - Hoa shared.

Hoa is not a special case, many housewives also share certain concerns about food hygiene, choosing to prepare vegetarian dishes at home to ensure food hygiene and safety and save costs.
