On the morning of September 5, nearly 809,000 students in Lam Dong province attended the Opening Ceremony, officially entering the new school year 2025 - 2026. Previously, there was a lot of information that this school year, many schools in Phan Thiet stopped organizing boarding schools, causing confusion for parents. Immediately after that, Director of the Department of Education and Training (GD-DT) Le Thi Bich Lien had a meeting with principals of kindergartens and primary schools that organize boarding schools in the 2025 - 2026 school year in the Phan Thiet area.

The meeting aimed to resolve difficulties and problems related to boarding organization. Accordingly, during the first 2 weeks of the school year, schools will temporarily purchase food from their old sources to ensure boarding for students.

During that time, the Department of Education and Training of the province will have detailed instructions and training on the bidding process according to regulations. The Department has also sent documents to the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to encourage the organization of boarding at primary education facilities, school year 2025 - 2026. Thus, there is no document or request to stop boarding in the new school year.

In fact, boarding school brings many benefits such as: balancing family life and studying, training students to be independent, helping parents reduce the pressure of picking up and dropping off their children, developing social skills and learning through a structured environment. Students are able to eat and rest scientifically at school, thereby improving their health and having more time to participate in extracurricular activities.

In particular, boarding school helps parents to care for and manage their children after school hours. It plays a role in taking care of the health, psychology, and comprehensive development of students, creating a synchronous education in the school. The time students spend at school is in a closed environment from eating, sleeping to resting and playing, contributing to strengthening the collective spirit, solidarity among friends, and the affection between teachers and students.

Primary school students are a special target for nutritionists. This is the age when the body and mind begin to move to a new stage that is very important for the physical and mental development of children. Physically, this is the stage when the brain is complete, children can learn a lot so the need for energy to provide for learning also increases.
