The Provincial Standing Committee received the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province to visit and wish them a Happy New Year.

On January 30, comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council received a delegation of the Provincial Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) to visit and extend New Year greetings to the Provincial Party Committee on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024. Attending the reception were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Department of Home Affairs.

On behalf of the delegation, Most Venerable Thich Thong Hue, Deputy Head of the Provincial Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, wished the provincial leaders a happy and prosperous new year; thanked the provincial leaders and authorities at all levels for their attention and creating favorable conditions for Buddhist activities in the past time.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council thanked the Provincial Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha for visiting, wishing a happy New Year and expressing his best wishes to the provincial leaders; at the same time, he gave an overview of the socio-economic results that the province has achieved in 2023 to the members of the delegation, emphasizing that these results were partly contributed by monks, nuns, and Buddhists who actively participated in patriotic emulation movements, social security work, and helped the poor and people in difficult circumstances. On the occasion of welcoming the new spring of Giap Thin 2024, he sent his best wishes to the Provincial Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and all dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhists in the province to celebrate the traditional New Year in peace, happiness, and joy, with a deep love for the religion with the motto of "good life, good religion", continuing to accompany the province to join hands in building the homeland of Ninh Thuan to develop more and more.
