Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San visits and inspects Truong Sa special zone
A working delegation of the Ministry of National Defense led by Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San, member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of National Defense, recently visited and inspected Truong Sa special zone (Khanh Hoa province).
The Navy has: Rear Admiral Nguyen Van Bach, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Navy; Rear Admiral Le Ba Quan, Deputy Commander of the Navy.
At the islands of An Bang, Thuyen Chai, Truong Sa, Nam Yet, and Song Tu Tay, the Deputy Minister of National Defense and the delegation offered incense at the Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh , the Monument of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan; and burned incense to commemorate heroic martyrs...
Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the results of the islands' mission completion; officers, soldiers and forces on the islands have thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the directives and resolutions from above, always grasped the situation, and avoided being passive and surprised in any situation.
The Deputy Minister of National Defense requested that officers and soldiers of Truong Sa and forces on the island always be ready for combat, strengthen coordination between forces; take care of the lives of soldiers and people, and be a support for fishermen to go out to sea...
On this occasion, the delegation also presented many meaningful gifts to officers, soldiers and forces on duty on the island.
