At the meeting, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center agreed to share documents including copies of King Ham Nghi's oil paintings created during his time in France and images related to King Ham Nghi's family for Cam Lo district to display.
Specifically, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center handed over 1 CD containing all documents of the exhibition "King Ham Nghi - Life and Art", including 62 photo documents, schematic drawings, 9 videos introducing the content of 9 exhibition themes, soft copies of all annotations of documents related to the exhibition (Vietnamese, English, French)...
These documents were donated to the Hue Monuments Conservation Center by Dr. Amandine Dabat, art historian and 5th generation descendant of King Ham Nghi in August 2022, and Cam Lo district has written permission to use them for display.
Based on the soft copy of these documents, Cam Lo District People's Committee will print and display them at the Temple of King Ham Nghi and Can Vuong generals in early November this year.
This is a collaborative effort to share Nguyen Dynasty documents between the Hue Monuments Conservation Center and Cam Lo district with the hope of helping the public of Quang Tri gain broader and deeper access to the life and artistic talent of King Ham Nghi.
