Speaking at the closing session, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai requested that National Assembly agencies closely coordinate with Government agencies to implement the conclusions of the meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee (NASC).
At the same time, prepare well for the 4th Conference of full-time National Assembly deputies, term XV, which will open on August 28, and continue to prepare for the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly to ensure quality.
At this meeting, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly gave opinions on explaining, accepting and revising draft laws including the draft Law on Water Resources (amended); the draft Law on Management and Protection of National Defense Works and Military Zones; the draft Law on Citizen Identification (amended); the draft Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level; the draft Law on Telecommunications (amended), the draft Law on Real Estate Business (amended), the draft Law on Land (amended), and the draft Law on Housing (amended).

Comments on the following contents: Draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Property Auction, Draft Law on Social Insurance (amended); Draft Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee stipulating that inspection agencies are allowed to deduct a portion of the recovered amounts discovered through inspection after being submitted to the state budget.
Conduct thematic supervision on "Implementation of Resolution No. 88 and Resolution No. 51 of the National Assembly on innovation of general education programs and textbooks".
Organize questioning and answering activities on two groups of issues under the responsibility of the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The Standing Committee of the National Assembly also commented on the draft Report on the 5-year review of the implementation of Joint Resolution No. 403 dated June 15, 2017 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, the Government and the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front detailing the forms of supervision and social criticism of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; and reviewed the report on the people's petition work of the National Assembly in July 2023.
The Standing Committee of the National Assembly listened to a report on the initial results of the National Assembly's supervision on "Implementation of the National Assembly's resolutions on the National Target Program on new rural construction for the 2021-2025 period, sustainable poverty reduction for the 2021-2025 period, and socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the 2021-2030 period".

Comments on the draft Monitoring Plan and report outline of the Monitoring Delegations including: The National Assembly's Monitoring Delegation on "Implementation of policies and laws on real estate market management and social housing development from 2015 to the end of 2023"; The National Assembly's Monitoring Delegation on "Implementation of Resolution No. 43 of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies to support the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program and the National Assembly's Resolutions on a number of important national projects until the end of 2023";
Supervisory delegation of the National Assembly Standing Committee on "Implementation of policies and laws on innovation of the organization and management system, improving the quality and efficiency of operations of public service units in the period 2018 - 2023".
The Standing Committee of the National Assembly passed a Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution 657 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly specifying the positions and titles of people's public security officers with the highest ranks of Lieutenant General and Major General, which are not yet specified in the Law on People's Public Security;
Resolution on approving the Prime Minister's proposal on the appointment of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the period 2023-2026 .
