At the same time, the Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee also requested heads of relevant agencies and units to regularly report results to the Provincial People's Committee before 2:30 p.m. every day until results are available.
The BD 97258 TS vessel, owned and captained by Mr. Huynh Van Son (born in 1981), went out to sea to catch tuna. While the vessel was operating in the sea about 147 nautical miles southeast of Quy Nhon ward, Gia Lai province, the voyage monitoring device lost connection and the fishing vessel lost contact with its family. At that time, there were 8 people on board.
At 8:45 p.m. on September 28, the family of the owner of the ship BD 97258 TS went to Tam Quan Nam Border Guard Station to report the incident. Up to now, the family and related units have not been able to contact the ship BD 97258 TS.
