The Northern regions, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An are forecast to have heavy to very heavy rain from the night of September 24 until the end of September 25. Such continuous heavy rain poses many risks such as flooding in low-lying areas, flash floods in small streams and landslides in mountainous areas.

The disaster risk level is currently determined at level 1. People in the above areas need to closely monitor updated news and proactively take preventive measures.
