MU negotiates Guehi
The race to sign centre-back Marc Guehi promises to be exciting in the coming months, with Manchester United also involved – alongside clubs like Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

British press reported that MU officials are making the first contacts with Guehi's representatives to learn about his wishes, as well as discuss the contract.
Guehi missed out on a move to Liverpool on September 1. The English midfielder's contract with Crystal Palace runs until June 2026 and MU wants to confirm his future plans.
MU is likely to part ways with Harry Maguire at the end of the 2025/26 season. The “Red Devils” want to reach an agreement with Guehi before the 2026 World Cup, to build a new defense.
Chelsea want to sign Maignan
According to British and Italian media, Chelsea are preparing to restart plans to recruit goalkeeper Mike Maignan.

During the preparation for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, Chelsea made an offer to buy Maignan, but AC Milan refused because of the low price.
Maignan has only one year left on his contract with Milan. If an extension is not reached, the Rossoneri will have to sell the French goalkeeper in January, so as not to lose him for free at the end of the season.
Chelsea are trying to influence Maignan not to sign a new contract with Milan, thereby receiving a significant "bribe" if he joins Stamford Bridge.
Maguire could move to Saudi Pro League
Saudi Arabian football clubs are planning to recruit Harry Maguire - who is on the list of people leaving MU at the end of the season.

The Saudi Pro League transfer window is open until September 10, but completing Maguire's signing right now is unlikely.
Maguire wants to continue playing for MU as per the contract between the two sides. He hopes to compete for a regular position, as well as join the England team for the 2026 World Cup.
Sources close to Maguira said he wanted to make a decision after the 2026 World Cup. Several European clubs, including AC Milan, also wanted to recruit the former Leicester midfielder.
