To express their condolences and commemorate General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, comrades: Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Minh Nam, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Commission; Nguyen Tien Duc, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission; Chamaléa Thi Thuy, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Dao Trong Dinh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission and all cadres, party members, civil servants and employees at the Provincial Party Committee's advisory agencies gathered at the Provincial Party Committee Hall to watch the General Secretary's memorial service on live television.

General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has devoted his entire life to the revolutionary cause of our Party and nation. With a spirit and will of steel, not retreating in the face of obstacles and difficulties, the General Secretary has left many particularly outstanding marks. With 80 years of age and 57 years of Party membership, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has made exceptionally outstanding contributions to the cause of the Party and nation; is an outstanding leader, loyal to the country, serving the revolution and the country, for the happiness of the people; is an intellectual theorist, imbued with Ho Chi Minh's thought; a worthy successor to the career of the Party's predecessors, who have brought our country to the foundation, potential, position and international prestige it has today. The passing of the General Secretary is a great loss to our Party, State and People, leaving behind endless sorrow among all cadres, people and overseas Vietnamese.

In a choked with emotion, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the delegates attending and watching the live broadcast of the memorial service observed a minute of silence, respectfully bowing before the spirit of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong - a great intellect, a great personality, an exemplary leader, shining with courage, pure revolutionary ethics, respect and love for people, living a full life for the country and the people. General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has passed away, but the legacy he left behind will forever remain in the hearts of every Vietnamese person.
