Solemnly held the ceremony to award and posthumously confer the honorary title of the State "Heroic Vietnamese Mother"

On the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam on February 3 (1930 - 2024), this morning, January 26, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee solemnly held a ceremony to award and posthumously confer the honorary title of the State "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" according to the decisions of the President.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung; Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Dao Manh Hung; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of departments, branches, districts, towns and cities; Heroic Vietnamese Mother Ho Thi Neng; representatives of relatives of mothers who were awarded or posthumously awarded the State honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee solemnly presented and posthumously awarded the State honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" to 22 mothers whose children and husbands heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and protection of the Fatherland.

In which, the State honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" was awarded to mother Ho Thi Neng, in A Doi commune, Huong Hoa district and the State honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" was posthumously awarded to 21 deceased mothers who had made many contributions to the cause of national liberation and protection of the Fatherland by representatives of the mothers' relatives.

Up to this point, in the golden list of the Fatherland's resistance against foreign invaders, 2,855 mothers of Quang Tri province have been recognized by the State and posthumously awarded the noble title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother".

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung affirmed that the ceremony to receive the State honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" is a source of deep pride not only for the mothers and families of martyrs but also for the entire Party, army and people of Quang Tri province.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung expressed his admiration and infinite gratitude for the great sacrifices of the heroic Vietnamese mothers - those who devoted their most beloved ones to the independence of the nation, for the freedom and happiness of the people.

I wish you good health to the mothers who are still alive; I wish the souls of the mothers who have passed away to rest in eternal peace.

At the same time, I would like to send my deepest feelings, deep gratitude and most warmest regards to the families of martyrs, families with meritorious services to the revolution, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, veteran revolutionary cadres, pre-uprising cadres, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor during the resistance war; and wounded and sick soldiers in the whole province.

With pride and deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs and heroic Vietnamese mothers, the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Tri province vow to unite and continue to strive to build the homeland to be more and more prosperous and worthy of the sacrifices of those who have fallen for the nation's survival and for the happiness of the people.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung suggested that Party committees at all levels, authorities, and socio -political organizations continue to promote the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", pay more attention and care to policy families, especially pay special attention and care to heroic Vietnamese mothers.

At the same time, educate the young generation to forever preserve and promote the traditions of the homeland and country, following the noble sacrifices of predecessors and heroic Vietnamese mothers to continue writing golden pages of history in the process of bringing the country forward in the period of integration with the world today.
