TPO - On August 19, 125 top professional and amateur golfers from across the country officially entered the competition at the National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025 at FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon. Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, teed off to open the tournament.

Attending the Opening Ceremony were Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich - Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee; journalist Phung Cong Suong - Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper, Co-Head of the Tournament Organizing Committee; Ms. Do Thi Dieu Hanh - Director of Gia Lai Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Co-Head of the Tournament Organizing Committee; Mr. Bui Trung Hieu - Deputy Director of Gia Lai Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thai Duong - Deputy General Secretary of Vietnam Golf Association, Director of the Tournament, Permanent Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, together with representatives of departments, branches and sectors of Gia Lai province; representatives of Central and Gia Lai provincial press agencies; golfers participating in the National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Lai province, said: "Today, the whole country is jubilantly celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution, simultaneously starting construction of 250 projects with a total investment of more than 1.2 million billion VND. Gia Lai province alone also organized 10 groundbreaking and inauguration events, in addition to the honor and pride of becoming the first province after the merger to host the National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025".

"In the next two years, we strive to have 10 golf courses, ready to host major national and international golf tournaments, and also wish to accompany Tien Phong newspaper in the next events. As we know, FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon is a very challenging golf course, but also has beautiful scenery. Held for the first time in Gia Lai, this year's National Golf Championship carries the expectation of expanding the influence of golf to lands rich in potential and cultural identity, while promoting tourism, sports and local economy ."

The 2025 Gia Lai National Golf Championship takes place from August 18 to 23 at FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon, one of the most beautiful and challenging coastal golf courses in Vietnam, known as the "golf paradise" where the wild forest meets the blue sea.
