On the afternoon of July 8, according to Thanh Nien reporters at the fireworks site on the west bank of the Han River (Bach Dang Street, Hai Chau District, Da Nang City), two teams from Italy and France completed the final stages to prepare for the launch.
As soon as the judges' scoring results were announced, the two best teams to perform in the final night were selected. In early July, the Italian and French fireworks teams returned to Da Nang City. The members began preparing the fireworks "battlefield" on the west bank of the Han River to perform in the final night of DIFF 2023.
Now, preparations have been completed, fireworks have been installed on the firing platform waiting for the launch time.
Under the hot weather in Da Nang city, members of the French fireworks team urgently completed the final preparations and technical checks at the shooting range on Bach Dang street.
A representative of the French fireworks team said that in the final night, the team will bring a unique performance, different from what they showed in the qualifying round.
Both teams will apply new technology and modern techniques to make the fireworks display on the final night truly explosive.
Italian team members brave the sun to complete the final steps at the shooting range.
The captain of the Italian fireworks team, Mr. Damiano Baraldo, said that he spent a lot of time choosing the music . Through the theme of the final night, the Italian team wanted to emphasize that art has no distance.
"The weather is hot but we are even 'hotter'. We will devote all our energy and time to preparing for tonight's performance," said Damiano Baraldo.
In the final night, in addition to having to use the fireworks list chosen by the organizers, the two Italian and French teams were required to use a Vietnamese song as background music.
The French and Italian teams are ready for an explosive fireworks display to close this year's Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF.
The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2023 takes place from June 2 to July 8, with 8 teams from the following countries: Vietnam, Finland, Canada, France, Australia, Italy, Poland, and the UK competing. After 4 competition nights, the jury selected 2 excellent teams, Italy and France, to perform in the final night.
The DIFF 2023 champion team will receive a prize worth 20,000 USD along with a trophy and certificate; the runner-up team will receive a prize worth 10,000 USD and two additional prizes including: "Creative Award" and "Audience Favorite Award", each worth 3,000 USD...
