After the parade, there was a special art performance called Vietnamese Spirit performed by many artists, moving millions of hearts with emotions, filled with pride for the homeland.
The art part is directed by Associate Professor Dr. Ta Quang Dong - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, musician Luu Quang Minh as Music Director, and Uyen Chi as Chief Choreographer.
Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Chief Choreographer Uyen Chi said that the art performance includes: 4,600 people forming shapes and letters, 2,200 dancers and drummers, 80 singers, artists, actors, athletes from the chemistry - sports sector, and the drum troupe of the Ministry of Public Security also has 800 people participating in the performance.
Artists participating in the event come from many performing fields, such as: People's Artist Quoc Hung, Meritorious Artist Phuong Nga, My Tam, singer Pham Thu Ha, Dao To Loan, Tung Duong, Hoa Minzy, Anh Tu, Phuong My Chi, Duong Hoang Yen, Truc Nhan, child singer Ha Thuy Tien...

According to Ms. Uyen Chi, recently, Hanoi has had heavy rain, many streets were flooded, transportation was difficult, or there were many hot sunny days, but the artists still practiced hard to complete their performances in the best way possible.
Talking about the reason for choosing singer My Tam to sing Giai dieu roi , Uyen Chi said because the female singer has a powerful voice, has great influence and reach, so she was chosen to sing the opening song for the art performance.
"We also chose little Ha Thuy Tien to sing Tien Quan Ca , standing with singer My Tam. With her clear voice, Thuy Tien seemed to convey the audience's emotions more fully when they believed in tomorrow, in the young generation," Uyen Chi said.
During a performance, Ms. Uyen Chi saw that little Thuy Tien had an innocent smile and charming dimples, so even though she was not the hottest child artist on social networks, Thuy Tien was chosen because of her honesty and innocence.
"I chose her because she has a very happy smile. I want her happiness to represent the happiness of Vietnamese people in peacetime, in the era of growth. Her smile is pure, unarranged, and everyone likes it...", said the Chief Choreographer.
Uyen Chi added that when she was chosen as the Chief Choreographer of the art section at the A80 ceremony, she felt quite pressured, even though she had previously worked on many large national programs.
“With this A80 event, I am nervous because the program is held at Ba Dinh Square, with a large number of actors. I am pressured because of the audience's expectations for the program.
Accordingly, I cannot bring my personal feelings into the program, the event must be the feelings of many people. In the performance on the morning of September 2, there was no technology to support it. The performances were all brilliant and of sufficient stature, so that everyone could see the image of a developing, rising, and happy country," Ms. Uyen Chi shared.

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, singer My Tam said that she was touched and proud to be able to sing loudly in the art program on the morning of September 2. For over a month, she has been continuously exchanging notes and working with everyone in the crew to make her performance more complete.
"I flew to Hanoi early to practice with the crew to bring the most solemn and emotional performance. I hope the audience, especially the young people, will feel more deeply the value of independence, freedom and love for the homeland. At the same time, they will have more motivation to contribute, live responsibly and preserve what our ancestors left behind," My Tam said.
People's Artist Quoc Hung said he felt lucky that this year he was able to participate in two special art programs, marking two important historical events of the nation: the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification and the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2.
Although not singing solo but harmonizing with other artists, People's Artist Quoc Hung was still extremely proud and moved to sing sacred melodies on the country's festival day.

"For me, this is not only an honor for an artist, but also an opportunity to express gratitude to the generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed to gain independence and freedom for the Fatherland.
The moment of singing in harmony in the historic Ba Dinh Square, witnessed by millions of people across the country, I consider it an unforgettable mark in my career. It is also a source of encouragement for me to continue contributing to revolutionary music," said People's Artist Quoc Hung.
