On the afternoon of October 19, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a summary training course to improve professional skills for the management board of cultural houses, sports areas, and core teams, groups, and cultural and artistic clubs, and grassroots sports in Dong Hung district.

Participating in the training course taking place from October 17 to 19, 240 trainees from 27 villages and residential groups of 15 communes and towns in Dong Hung district were taught by lecturers a number of contents directly related to building cultural life at the grassroots level such as: model regulations on organization, activities and criteria of cultural houses and village sports areas; instructions on establishing cultural house management boards; methods of managing and organizing cultural house activities; instructions on establishing cultural and artistic clubs; work on building groups, teams, and groups of cultural and artistic clubs at the grassroots level; methods of planning and organizing mass cultural and artistic programs... During most of the training time, trainees participated in practicing contents related to cultural and artistic activities, physical education and sports at the grassroots level such as: staging performances, practicing Cheo singing and dancing skills, new singing and dancing; friendly volleyball, yoga, folk dance, tug of war, badminton...

Through the training course, it contributes to fostering and improving professional knowledge for the management board of cultural houses, village sports areas, residential groups and the core of grassroots cultural and sports teams, groups and clubs, contributing to building a force of cultural cadres and grassroots collaborators with the skills to effectively organize activities at cultural houses, village sports areas and residential groups. From there, it contributes to creating positive changes in building cultural life at the grassroots level and creating a model to replicate throughout the province.
