The list of 10 schools with the highest public 10th grade entrance scores in Ho Chi Minh City in 2025 has changed compared to last year.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has just announced the benchmark scores for public 10th grade admission in 2025. Accordingly, the high school with the highest benchmark score in the city is not Nguyen Thuong Hien High School, Tan Binh District, but Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School, District 1.

This is a new school that separated from Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted in 2024. Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School is also the school with the highest competition rate in the 10th grade entrance exam season this year.

Specifically, the benchmark score for entering grade 10 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School is 24.5 points. Next is Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School with 23.75 points.

The admission score to Nguyen Thuong Hien High School this year is the third highest in the city with 23.5 points. Nguyen Huu Huan High School also has the same admission score as Nguyen Thuong Hien School.

In general, the list of 10 schools with the highest 10th grade entrance scores in Ho Chi Minh City this year has changed. Specifically, Gia Dinh High School has fallen out of the top, replaced by Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School.

Important milestones after knowing the 10th grade benchmark scores

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said that from 3:00 p.m. on June 26 to 4:00 p.m. on July 1, candidates admitted to grade 10 will confirm their enrollment online at: https://ts10.hcm.edu.vn .

From July 3 to 10: Students will complete the admission procedures directly at the high school that has been previously confirmed through the online system. If parents and students do not complete the admission procedures, they will be considered to be removed from the admission list.

Expected July 11: Department of Education and Training will announce the review results.

From July 12 to 14: Additional consideration of successful candidates after review.

From July 15 to 5:00 p.m. on July 17 at the latest: Students submit their applications for admission after review
