Top schools in Hanoi with the highest high school graduation scores in all subjects

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just announced statistics of schools with the highest high school graduation scores in this year's exam subjects.

According to information from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training on the afternoon of July 16, the high school graduation rate in 2025 of Hanoi city reached 99.73% (including candidates taking the exam under the 2018 General Education Program and candidates taking the exam under the 2006 General Education Program).

The entire city has 200 schools with a 100% high school graduation rate, an increase of dozens of schools compared to last year. Among them are a series of schools in suburban areas with limited input quality.

Nguyen Viet Hung, a student at Chu Van An High School for the Gifted, holds 5 valedictorian titles in this year's high school graduation exam.

Hanoi leads in the number of 10 points in this exam with 1,583 10 points in all subjects, and has impressive results when the Ministry of Education and Training announced statistics of the 10 provinces and cities with the highest results, Hanoi is present in most subjects.

English, the subject with the most difficult test in this year's exam, Hanoi ranked number 1 among the 10 provinces and cities with the highest average score, with a score of 5.78; it is also the locality with the most 10 points in this subject, with 56 candidates.

This year, Hanoi has 3 valedictorians according to the university entrance exam combinations. Notably, the candidate is Nguyen Viet Hung, a student of the English specialized class at Chu Van An High School for the Gifted, who holds 5 valedictorian titles: valedictorian of the national high school graduation exam, valedictorian of A01 (math, physics, English), valedictorian of C01 (math, literature, physics), valedictorian of D01 (math, literature, English), valedictorian of D11 (literature, physics, English).

This is a case that the Hanoi Department of Education and Training said has never happened in previous exams.

Talking to Thanh Nien reporters about the impressive results in this year's exam, Mr. Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, said that this is the resonance of many solutions from the previous 3 school years of each school and the entire education sector of the capital.

For many years now, Hanoi has been promoting and schools have responded to the movement "Schools join hands to develop, teachers share responsibilities", with good and experienced teachers from top schools participating in professional training, teaching, and reviewing for students in disadvantaged schools...; there are specialized seminars for the "main" team in schools to create changes for each teacher in teaching and keep up with the requirements of innovation.

This afternoon, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training also announced the top high schools with the highest average scores in 8 subjects in the 2025 high school graduation exam.
