Gia Nghia City recognizes limitations and difficulties in the past 9 months

On October 10, the 18th Conference of the City Party Executive Committee, term 2020-2025, assessed that the results of development are the focused leadership, direction, and synchronous and drastic implementation of the tasks set out in the 2024 resolution.

Comrade Vo Pham Xuan Lam, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Gia Nghia City Party Committee, emphasized that the results achieved in the first 9 months of the year by the city are positive and promising.

Gia Nghia has overcome many difficulties and challenges and so far exceeded the annual plan targets, including: Forest cover rate reached 6.74% (resolution set at 6.7% or higher); land use rights settlement reached 95.6% (resolution set at 95% or higher).

Many city targets achieved the annual plan, including: Urban waste treatment rate reached 96%; Lighting rate of main streets reached 100%; Green trees on main streets reached 96%; Population rate using clean water, villages and hamlets with national grid electricity, number of households using electricity reached 100%...

The city frankly acknowledged the limitations and difficulties in the past 9 months. Of which, budget revenue reached 798,769 billion VND, reaching 55.8% of the plan assigned by the province and 58.3% of the resolution. Budget expenditure reached 377,304 billion VND (resolution 560,682 billion VND), reaching 67.3%.

Disbursement of public investment capital plan is low. The total public investment capital plan for 2024 assigned to the city to manage and use is 261,334 billion VND.

The total capital plan entered into the Tabmis system is 136,695 billion VND, disbursed 99,471 billion VND, reaching over 38% of the assigned capital plan and nearly 73% of the capital plan entered into the Tabmis system.

At the conference, the City Party Executive Committee strived to focus on implementing solutions to complete the year's targets in the next 3 months.

The city focuses on and is determined in clearing land for key projects such as: Central Square Phase 2; projects around Gia Nghia Lake; new urban area in residential group 4, Nghia Duc ward, new urban area in group 3, Nghia Phu ward.

The city continues to lead and direct the acceleration of the implementation of cadastral mapping projects, issuance of land use right certificates, construction of land management databases, and putting the city's Intelligent Operation Center (IOC) into operation.

The city focuses on building plans and preparing contents to organize congresses of party cells and grassroots party committees towards the Gia Nghia City Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Vo Pham Xuan Lam, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Gia Nghia City Party Committee emphasized: The results achieved in the first 9 months of the year by the city are positive and promising, contributing to the economic and social development of Dak Nong . The results of the city's 2024 targets are of great significance to the implementation of the goals for the entire 2020-2025 term. Therefore, the city strives to accelerate the implementation of tasks in the last 3 months of the year to achieve the highest target of the 2024 resolution.
