Hai Duong City needs to improve the quality of public reception work.

On the morning of April 15, comrade Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province attended a reception for citizens in Hai Duong city with Chairman of Hai Duong City People's Committee Tran Ho Dang.

National Assembly deputies receiving citizens at the district level is an initiative of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province for the 2021-2026 term.

In the morning, 11 citizens of Hai Duong City reflected and made recommendations on many issues. Most of the citizens made recommendations on land-related issues, mainly problems in granting land use right certificates, compensation for resettlement when clearing land, and land disputes.

Ms. Tran Thi Hao and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue in Nhi Chau ward (Hai Duong city) reported that they have not been granted land use right certificates.

At the citizen reception, comrade Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province listened to the citizens' petitions and reflections and requested the leaders and functional agencies of Hai Duong city to clarify the difficulties in resolving citizens' petitions.

Comrade Le Van Hieu pointed out some limitations in the public reception work of Hai Duong City and requested the City People's Committee to promptly overcome them. The specialized departments of Hai Duong City People's Committee need to improve their responsibility in handling and guiding procedures to make it convenient for people to handle procedures related to the land sector.

Regarding the citizens' petitions, comrade Le Van Hieu requested the People's Committee of Hai Duong City to consider, handle and report the results to the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province.

According to the Regulations on citizen reception and voter contact of National Assembly deputies of Hai Duong province, term XV, 2021 - 2026, provincial National Assembly deputies working in the locality receive citizens periodically once a month; provincial National Assembly deputies working outside the province receive citizens at least once every 3 months at the district-level citizen reception office. Provincial National Assembly deputies can receive citizens individually or together with the Secretary and Chairman of the district-level People's Committee. National Assembly deputies who are Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee receive citizens according to the schedule of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee or as assigned by the Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.
