According to the assessment of the staff of the Department of Organization and Personnel of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, this year, for most of the teaching positions, Ho Chi Minh City has had candidates participating and passing, including subjects that have been difficult for many years such as fine arts (10 teachers); music (8 teachers); English (31 teachers); information technology (12 teachers)...

Some subjects with high demand for teachers such as history (45 teachers), mathematics (33), national defense education (22), physical education (18), geography (18)... have also been fully recruited.

However, in terms of staff positions, except for the positions of cashier and librarian, which have been fully recruited, in the remaining positions, including information technology staff, academic affairs, accounting, laboratory equipment, clerical staff, etc., the candidates registered for recruitment are not able to meet the actual needs.

The leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City assessed that the teacher recruitment work of Ho Chi Minh City this year has improved a lot when there are a large number of candidates applying for most of the recruitment positions, helping Ho Chi Minh City to select qualified candidates who meet the requirements of the job positions and the requirements of the city's education sector.

However, the staff positions are not yet filled to the required level. An official from the HCM City Department of Education and Training said that although the salary of school staff has been increased, it is still relatively low. Meanwhile, the workload is heavy. This is one of the difficulties in recruiting school staff positions.
