On August 22, the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association to hold a press conference to inform about the first Vietnamese Rice Noodle Festival in 2025 with the theme "Delicious dishes from vermicelli". The program took place from October 16 to 19 at September 23 Park (Ben Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
Ms. Nguyen Thi Khanh, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, said that the festival aims to honor the traditional culinary culture of Vietnam, and at the same time promote typical dishes to friends at home and abroad. The program has received positive response from the community and is expected to attract about 100,000 visitors.
During the program, visitors have free entrance, the activities of this event promise to bring visitors the experience of a unique culinary culture space.

The first Vietnamese Rice Flour Festival in 2025 is expected to be a rich and attractive culinary cultural event, not only introducing delicious dishes made from rice flour but also recreating interesting experiential spaces, combining traditional and modern cuisine.
With the theme "Delicious dishes from vermicelli", the event brings a journey to discover a variety of famous vermicelli dishes across the country, from Hanoi vermicelli with grilled pork, Hai Phong vermicelli with perch, Hue beef vermicelli, crab vermicelli, Can Tho vermicelli with fish sauce, Nha Trang vermicelli with fish sauce, Soc Trang vermicelli with broth... and delicious vermicelli dishes from all over the country. In addition, the program will have delicious dishes from famous vermicelli such as pho, hu tieu, banh hoi, banh tam...

The festival will have the participation of 100 - 150 booths displaying and introducing products such as vermicelli flour, fresh vermicelli, rice noodles, processed spices and special side dishes. This event promises to attract a lot of attention from domestic and foreign visitors to visit, enjoy and experience the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine.
At this event, visitors can also learn about the traditional rice noodle production process along with other special side dishes, interact with culinary experts and participate in many exciting cultural and entertainment activities.
Main activities of the 1st Vietnamese Rice Festival
1. Lion dance to welcome the opening ceremony;
2. Performance - setting a record of 100 delicious dishes made from rice noodles, bringing together many dishes from vermicelli, pho, hu tieu, banh tam;
3. The "Raising the Level of Rice" contest aims to promote and elevate Vietnamese cuisine on the world culinary map, especially enhancing the applicability and richness of Vietnamese rice noodles to domestic and international diners through this event;
4. Cultural exchange, culinary experience: Organize exchange activities, share experiences between culinary artists, chefs and food lovers. Visitors will experience making vermicelli, selling vermicelli, etc. at the traditional craft village display area;
5. Visitors can shop for rice fiber related products;
6. Music programs, art performances.
