Students enjoy accessing digital library on mobile van

Over the years, on each journey, the mobile digital library vehicle has carried thousands of diverse books, serving many audiences: from children's comics, life skills books, science , literature, history, to reference materials to support learning. The reading space on the vehicle is scientifically designed, neat, creating a friendly and close feeling for students.

The highlight of this model is the harmonious combination of traditional paper books and e-books. When participating in the activity, in addition to reading books and exploring knowledge, students also have the opportunity to access modern technology and STEM models.

A big plus that makes students excited every time the bus stops is the free reading card service. With this card, students can access the smart library system of the Ho Chi Minh City General Library anywhere. This is the way the library expands the reading space beyond the physical scope, helping students form the habit of accessing knowledge more proactively and flexibly.

Established in 2007, the mobile library program of the Ho Chi Minh City General Library now has 8 vehicles serving the needs of many different ages and subjects, including the visually impaired. The children were so absorbed in reading that they forgot the bustling, exciting festival atmosphere.

The image of a large number of children gathered at the library van, engrossed in reading, playing, and drawing amidst the bustling, noisy festival atmosphere shows the appeal of an effective community cultural model. The mobile digital library van not only brings knowledge closer to everyone, but also creates a meaningful cultural space in the community.
