Ho Chi Minh City recruits over 3,900 teachers for the new school year

GD&TĐ - At the end of the first round of teacher recruitment for the 2025-2026 school year, Ho Chi Minh City recruited 3,908 teachers at all levels from preschool to high school and continuing education.

On October 6, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City announced the results of the first round of civil servant recruitment for the 2025-2026 school year. Accordingly, out of a total of 10,175 candidates in the second round, 3,908 candidates were qualified to be recruited for teaching positions at all levels from preschool, primary, secondary to high school, and continuing education according to the school they had registered to choose before. Of which, region 1 (formerly Ho Chi Minh City) recruited the most teachers.

Compared to the total demand for recruiting teachers at all levels from kindergarten to high school in Ho Chi Minh City in the first phase of the 2025-2026 school year, there are 5,729 teachers. Thus, the first phase of recruitment reached a rate of 68.21%. The number of unfilled positions is 1,821 teachers.

The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City notes: Within 30 days from the date of receiving this notice, successful candidates whose names are on the attached list must complete their recruitment application, including: certified copies of diplomas and certificates as required for the job position; certificate of priority (if any); transcript; criminal record No. 1 issued by the competent authority.

Application documents are submitted to the Reception and Result Delivery Department of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City.

In case the successful candidate does not fully complete the recruitment application as prescribed or commits fraud in filling out the application form, or is discovered to have used an incorrect diploma, certificate, or certification to participate in the recruitment, the successful candidate will have their recruitment results canceled.

In case of fraudulent declaration of application forms or use of incorrect diplomas, certificates, or certifications to participate in the recruitment, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City will publicly announce on the website http://tuyendung.hcm.edu.vn and will not accept application forms for the next recruitment period.
