Donated 52 wheelchairs to the disabled in Thang Binh district

(QNO) - On the morning of June 23, in Thang Binh district, Quang Nam Charity Association coordinated with Giving Back Childhood Organization to give 52 wheelchairs to people with disabilities.

Each wheelchair costs 1.5 million VND, funded by the Community Education Project. Volunteers from the Giving Back to Childhood Organization also provide wheelchair usage skills instruction to each subject.

Previously, the Giving Back Childhood Organization decided to sponsor phase 2 (2023 - 2028) with a total budget of more than 8 billion VND for Thang Binh district to support students in accessing supplementary classes on knowledge, life skills and mental health, and participating in extracurricular activities...

In addition, about 100 pregnant women in especially difficult circumstances have the opportunity to receive financial support for ultrasounds at important stages of pregnancy; and wheelchairs and rocking chairs for the disabled.

The project has been halfway completed, the next programs will continue to be handed over to 6 new communes to be implemented until 2028.
