Accordingly, Da Nang city is forecast to be directly affected by storm No. 10.

Faced with the complicated and unpredictable developments of this storm, in order to proactively and effectively prevent and combat the storm, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee requests Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations at all levels from the city to wards and communes to strengthen leadership and direction to seriously, resolutely, promptly and effectively implement the directions of the Central Government and the city on prevention, response and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

Always be vigilant, do not be subjective or negligent, absolutely ensure the safety of people's lives and property, minimize damage caused by natural disasters...

Localities at risk of damage from landslides, flash floods, floods, etc., need to urgently organize inspections of places at risk of insecurity; strengthen propaganda work, inform people about developments of storms and floods; proactively organize reinforcement of houses, clear drainage ditches to prevent flooding, etc.

At the same time, proactively monitor the developments and storm situation and closely follow the direction of the Central Government, the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee to deploy storm prevention and control tasks; promptly report to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee (through the City Party Committee Office) on arising situations that require leadership and direction.

The Party Committee of the City People's Committee focuses on directing the City People's Committee and relevant sectors, localities and units to ensure the mobilization of forces, fully prepare conditions, means and equipment to serve the implementation of storm prevention and control plans, especially in mountainous areas, remote areas, border areas, islands, areas at risk of landslides, flash floods, low-lying areas with frequent flooding, urban areas at risk of local flooding; organize on-call and timely rescue when situations occur with the motto "4 on-site".

Along with that, promote information and propaganda work with appropriate forms, such as: television, radio, telephone, texting, social networks and other means of communication to all people, agencies and businesses to proactively implement measures to prevent and combat natural disasters, absolutely protect the safety of people's lives, homes and properties.

The City Military Party Committee and the City Police Party Committee directed their subordinate functional forces (border guards, waterway police, etc.) to promptly notify owners of vehicles and boats operating at sea of the location, direction of movement and developments of the storm to proactively avoid it; calling on boats to urgently come ashore or find safe shelter.

Instruct fishermen to implement solutions and measures, arrange permanent forces for fire prevention and fighting when anchoring boats to avoid storms at planned anchorages and shelters, to prevent fires and explosions; ensure security, order and safety of State and people's property.

In addition, review response plans, proactively organize and deploy forces and means to be ready to support localities in responding to storms, floods and overcoming consequences.
