Giving Tet gifts to Hanoi environmental workers

Kinhtedothi - On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, on the morning of January 20, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Law Committee Nguyen Thi Mai Phuong visited, wished a happy new year and gave gifts to workers of Hanoi Urban Environment One Member Co., Ltd.

Also attending was Vice President of Hanoi Labor Federation Nguyen Huy Khanh.

Reporting to the working delegation, Deputy General Director and Chairman of the Trade Union of Hanoi Urban Environment Company Limited Pham Cao Thang said that the company has nearly 5,000 employees, with an average income of 8.5 million VND/person/month. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the company will give employees an average bonus of over 7 million VND/person; at the same time, there are practical gifts for employees to celebrate Tet with their families.

Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Law Committee Nguyen Thi Mai Phuong and Vice President of the Hanoi Labor Federation Nguyen Huy Khanh presented 100 gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (each gift includes 1 million VND in cash and a gift bag worth 300,000 VND) to 100 workers in difficult circumstances of the Hanoi Urban Environment Company Limited.

Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Law Committee Nguyen Thi Mai Phuong congratulated the efforts of the business leaders to maintain good company operations and excellently complete the tasks assigned by the City. At the same time, she expressed her appreciation for the work of environmental workers. Despite having to work in a harsh environment and facing many difficulties in life, the workers have always completed their work well, contributing to making the environment increasingly green, clean and beautiful.

Touched by the sharing of the National Assembly delegates as well as the Trade Union, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa - a garbage collector at Factory 3, Hai Ba Trung branch, Hanoi Urban Environment Company Limited shared: receiving the gifts from the Trade Union, I personally and the workers in the Company in general are very happy, the gifts help us reduce our worries when Tet comes, adding more spirit to the workers during Tet.

The visits and gift-giving activities of National Assembly delegates and Trade Unions at all levels have demonstrated the concern of the Party - State and Trade Union organizations to encourage and provide practical support to union members and workers in difficulty.
