Launching the online contest "Voting for favorite OCOP products of Ninh Thuan province" in 2023

On August 4, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee for the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" held a conference to launch the online contest "Voting for favorite OCOP products of Ninh Thuan province" in 2023. Comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee chaired the conference.

The online contest "Voting for favorite OCOP products of Ninh Thuan province" in 2023 will be held from August 19 to September 19, 2023. Participants in the contest are establishments, cooperatives, and enterprises with products recognized as OCOP products. The contest content is to send from 3 to 5 images and must be accompanied by a "Product Story" that the OCOP subject wants to convey to the community or a short, concise introductory message with full information about the product of no more than 150 words (product name, goods, effects, ...). Entries that pass the preliminary round will be posted on the contest Fanpage for voting. At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee will award 16 prizes including: 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 10 consolation prizes.

Speaking at the conference, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee said that the contest is very important in mobilizing all classes of people in the province to raise awareness and actively respond to the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", especially creating motivation to change from "prioritizing" using Vietnamese goods to "trusting" Vietnamese goods; this is also an opportunity to honor establishments, cooperatives, enterprises that produce, trade, introduce and promote OCOP products of the province.

To achieve the set goals, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee requested members of the Steering Committee to increase the application of information technology to propagate before, during and after the contest; the Front and CVĐ member organizations take the lead in propagating and participating in the contest; have a plan to guide and encourage establishments, cooperatives, enterprises and business households with products recognized as OCOP products to actively participate in the contest.

Regarding the comments of the members at the meeting, it is recommended that the Organizing Committee accept and promptly complete the plan for early implementation. The implementation process needs to be proactively monitored, urged, reminded, and reported on for the Organizing Committee to grasp and synthesize.
