(Dan Tri) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presented a document requesting the National Assembly to approve the dismissal of the positions of Minister of Finance and Minister of Transport for the 2021-2026 term.

On the afternoon of November 27, under the chairmanship of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, the National Assembly listened to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh present a proposal requesting the National Assembly to approve the dismissal of the positions of Minister of Finance and Minister of Transport for the 2021-2026 term. After that, the National Assembly discussed in delegations the proposal to approve the dismissal of the positions of Minister of Finance and Minister of Transport for the 2021-2026 term.

The position of Minister of Finance is currently held by Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc, while the position of Minister of Transport is held by Mr. Nguyen Van Thang. Previously, the 13th Party Central Committee meeting on the morning of November 25 reviewed and gave opinions on personnel matters so that the Politburo could decide to introduce them to the 15th National Assembly for approval of the positions of Minister of Finance and Minister of Transport. According to the agenda of the 8th session, in the early morning of November 28, the National Assembly held a separate meeting on personnel matters, and the personnel matter continued to be discussed by the National Assembly at the end of the afternoon session of the same day.
