China proposes technology to improve batteries

Scientists from Fudan University (China) have developed a revolutionary repair technology that can help lithium-ion batteries last six times longer, according to the South China Morning Post reported on February 14.

Over time, batteries lose performance, but researchers say they can fix this problem by injecting a special solution to restore "sick" batteries, claiming the technology is completely environmentally friendly and low-cost.

According to the research team, the above technology has huge commercial potential with applications in many types of electric vehicles and energy storage projects, so they will soon be commercialized.
