Yen Bai Provincial Center for Disease Control (KSBT) has released 25kg of 25% Cloramin B chemicals and coordinated with local authorities in Yen Bai ward to spray disinfectants in flooded areas after storms, including Thanh Nien Street, Yet Kieu Street, Hong Ha market, Hong Thai Primary School and crowded places with 25% Cloramin B chemicals mixed with 0.5% active chlorine concentration to limit the risk of disease outbreaks after storms.

In addition to disinfection activities, the Center also strengthens epidemiological surveillance, especially for infectious diseases that are likely to break out after floods such as diarrhea, dengue fever, respiratory diseases, etc. At the same time, it prepares enough chemicals and equipment, distributes them to lower-level medical units, ensuring readiness to respond. In addition, propaganda to guide people on water treatment, environmental sanitation, and ensuring food safety is also widely implemented.
With the motto "Proactive - timely - effective", Lao Cai Provincial Center for Disease Control is determined to prevent epidemics from arising and spreading, contributing to protecting people's health during and after storms and floods.
