Before November 30, put facilities 2 of Bach Mai and Viet Duc Hospitals into use.

The Government Office has just issued a notice of Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long's conclusion regarding the progress of the investment project to build Facility 2 of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital and Facility 2 of Bach Mai Hospital in Ninh Binh province.

Before November 30, put facilities 2 of Bach Mai and Viet Duc Hospitals into use.

According to the report, the two projects have had positive changes, especially at Bach Mai Hospital. However, the implementation process still has many difficulties and problems and there is no specific solution to completely resolve them.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Health , the Project Management Board, contractors and relevant ministries and branches to continue to raise their determination, focus their intelligence and resources, and organize and implement synchronous and drastic solutions to complete and put these two medical facilities into use before November 30, 2025, serving people's health care, avoiding wasting investment resources, while contributing to reducing the load on central-level hospitals and improving the quality of medical examination and treatment.

The Deputy Prime Minister also requested the Ministry of Health to proactively follow up on reality, monitor and review the weekly and monthly work progress of the two projects; in the immediate future, it is necessary to promptly coordinate with the Ministry of Construction and relevant agencies to completely resolve the problems in the preparation and appraisal of estimates for the mechanical and electrical parts and interior of both projects.

The Ministry of Health directed Viet Duc Friendship Hospital and Bach Mai Hospital to urgently prepare in terms of expertise and profession, organize recruitment, training, arrange human resources, develop operational plans, financial mechanisms and operating models to be ready to receive and operate as soon as the project is completed.

The Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee was assigned to closely coordinate with the Ministry of Health, the Project Management Board and the two hospitals in preparing housing areas for officials, doctors and medical staff; at the same time, ensuring essential infrastructure and service conditions for the second facility of the two hospitals to operate smoothly and effectively.
