On the evening of August 17, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade announced the standard scores for the 2024 high school graduation exam.

Notably, this year the total number of applications for Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade is about 80,000, but the school's benchmark score is not too high, most majors have "easy" scores.

Accordingly, the admission score based on the 2024 high school graduation exam scores for the school's 34 regular undergraduate training programs ranges from 17 to 24.5 points. Of which, the marketing program has the highest admission score.

Successful candidates will complete admission procedures from August 20 to August 27.

The deadline for confirming online admission for the first round on the Ministry of Education and Training 's admission information portal (https://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn/) is no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 27.

After confirming online admission on the ministry's admission portal, candidates will complete admission procedures at the school from 7:00 a.m. on August 20 to 5:00 p.m. on August 27.

The school will compare high school academic results, documents proving priority subjects and priority areas according to the information on the Ministry of Education and Training system and original documents when candidates complete admission procedures.

If the result of the file verification is incorrect, leading to a change in the admission result, the school will cancel the admission result according to regulations.

On the evening of August 17, the University of Finance and Marketing announced the admission scores for the regular university level in 2024 for candidates using the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam.

The above admission score is the total score of 3 subjects/exams on a 10-point scale for each subject/exam of each admission combination, without multiplying the coefficient (except for English language), rounded to two decimal places, no subject/exam in the admission combination has a result of 1 point or less.

For English language majors only, the English test score is multiplied by a factor of 2, then the total test score of the 3 subjects/exams in the admission combination is converted to a 30-point scale before being considered for admission by taking the total test score of the 3 subjects/exams in the candidate's admission combination multiplied by 3, then divided by 4.

The above admission benchmark includes priority scores for all regions and target groups according to regulations in current admission regulations.

Priority points for subjects and regions for candidates with a total score of 3 subjects/exams in the admission combination of 22.5 or higher (when converted to a score on a 10-point scale and the maximum total score of 3 subjects is 30) are determined according to the following formula:

Priority points for subjects and regions = [(30 - Total score of 3 subjects/exams in the admission combination)/7.5] × Priority points according to current admission regulations.

Priority points for objects and areas are rounded to two decimal places.

The above admission scores apply to all admission combinations of each major according to each training program (standard program, special program, integrated program, full English program).
