Pacific University has a new president

On the morning of September 14, at the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year, Pacific University announced the decision to appoint Professor Dao Van Dong as president.

After being appointed, Prof. Dr. Dao Van Dong expressed his determination to build the brand of Pacific University to reach regional and international levels.

"I consider this a great responsibility, and at the same time an opportunity to work with the school community to create a bright future for Pacific University. We will constantly strive to improve the quality of training, promote digital transformation, scientific research and international cooperation, so that each student has the best learning environment, comprehensive development and is ready to integrate with the world," said Mr. Dong.

Prof. Dr. Dao Van Dong was born in 1973, is a PhD from Leeds University (UK), a member of the Council of Professors of Transport since 2019.
