(CTO) - To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), and to welcome the congress of delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the commune, on the morning of August 26, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Truong Thanh commune organized a launching ceremony to clean up and protect the environment on the roads in the area.

After the launching, cadres of the Farmers' Association, Women's Union, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Veterans' Association of the commune and the front work committees of hamlets in the commune focused on general environmental sanitation of the more than 2.5km long road from Provincial Road 922 (the old Thoi Lai District Police section) to Vam Nhon Bridge.

Veterans of the commune were seen standing on the edge of a tree branch that blocked their view. Before that, the Veterans Association of the commune also started cleaning up the environment, clearing the 2.5km long Vam Ong Vieng road, from Truong Tay hamlet to Truong Long hamlet.

Afterwards, the Commune Veterans Association presented 80 gifts to veterans in difficult circumstances, each gift worth 300,000 VND.

After the peak, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Truong Thanh commune and socio-political organizations will visit, encourage and express gratitude to families with meritorious services to the revolution and exemplary policy families in the area; organize support and care for poor households and vulnerable groups; focus on completing and organizing the handover and inauguration of social security works and solidarity houses. In particular, organize cultural, artistic and sports activities and festivals to celebrate National Day September 2.
