Cu Khe Primary School re-organizes boarding meals for students from October 21, 2025
The number of students having meals at the boarding school is 1,430, reaching a rate of 94.2%. To meet the wishes of parents who cannot arrange time to pick up and drop off their children, Cu Khe Primary School has organized self-cooking to serve the boarding school from today (October 21), under the supervision of parents, the school's monitoring team, medical staff and representatives of the Department of Culture and Society of Binh Minh commune.
The school will maintain the self-cooking arrangement while waiting for the completion of legal procedures for the new catering unit to officially take over the boarding catering work.
During the monitoring process, parents commented that the food, vegetables and fruits were fresh, had invoices, documents and clear origins; the food trays were full. The facilities were renovated, kitchen utensils were replaced, ensuring food hygiene and safety.

Cu Khe Primary School is committed to fully implementing regulations on food hygiene and safety.
Previously, Cu Khe Primary School had terminated the contract with the boarding school meal supplier since October 17th due to the discovery of food that did not meet quality standards. While completing the process of selecting a new supplier, the school proposed two options: Option 1 is for parents to prepare lunch for their children to bring to school; Option 2 is for parents to pick up their children at home for lunch and rest from 10:30, then bring their children back to school at 1:30 for afternoon classes.
On October 20, according to school statistics, 182 students were absent from school (due to health reasons, parents unable to pick up and drop off their children or unable to prepare lunch); 1 student was absent without permission.
Information about the reorganization of the boarding meals was announced to parents by Cu Khe Primary School on the evening of October 20 to stabilize teaching and learning, creating peace of mind for parents when sending their children. The school is committed to fully implementing regulations on food hygiene and safety.
