The oath-taking ceremony helps new soldiers understand the meaning and importance of the task of training new soldiers, deeply perceive the spirit and responsibility of standing in the ranks of the Vietnam People's Army in general, and the honor and pride of being a guard at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in particular.

At the ceremony, Colonel Pham Van Hien, Head of Group 285, reported on the summary of the unit's training tasks for new soldiers. Accordingly, Group 285, with a positive spirit, was proactive and determined to strive from the first day and first week of training; the elite youths of 13 provinces, after more than 3 months of training, promoted the traditions of their homeland, family and the traditions of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Force, successfully completed the training content and program; built a strong and comprehensive unit "exemplary model"; the Party committee and organization were clean and strong, qualified to be assigned to agencies and units in the Command.

In his speech, Colonel Pham Hai Trung, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Group 969 and the Head of the Command, warmly commended the achievement of "Excellent training unit" of the Training Center, Group 285, and at the same time requested that after the oath-taking ceremony, Group 285 organize a specific and strict handover of new comrades to agencies and units according to the decision of the Command; continue to consolidate facilities, organize training in ceremonial honor guard for comrades according to plan.

For officers and soldiers on training duty, Colonel Pham Hai Trung requested that they continue to study and improve their qualifications, gain experience in management and command; educate and practice discipline, and complete training tasks well in the coming time.

Colonel Pham Hai Trung hopes that, when new comrades and soldiers take up their duties at agencies and units, no matter what tasks they perform, they must actively study, cultivate, train, strictly abide by discipline; unite and love their comrades and teammates; progress and mature quickly in all aspects, worthy of the noble title of Uncle Ho's Soldiers in the new era, Uncle Ho's Soldiers at Uncle Ho's Mausoleum.

Also at the ceremony, 1 collective and 25 individuals who completed their tasks well were awarded Certificates of Merit, and 77 comrades were awarded Certificates of Merit.
