Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard closes new soldier training course

(GLO)- On the morning of July 16, at the Training Battalion, the Border Guard Command of Gia Lai province held a closing ceremony for the new soldier training course.

In 2025, the Training Battalion under the Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard Command was assigned to train 195 soldiers for the Gia Lai and Dak Lak Provincial Border Guards and the 48th Border Guard Squadron.

After more than 4.5 months of training, 100% of new soldiers have been equipped with basic knowledge of the following subjects: military, politics , reconnaissance, border defense, self-awareness, strict compliance with military discipline...

During the training, the unit has effectively applied the motto "basic, practical, solid"; promoted the emulation movement to win and cultural and artistic activities, physical training and sports, increased production, and improved the material and spiritual life of the soldiers. At the end of the training course, 100% of the new soldiers met the requirements, of which 85% were good and excellent.

At the ceremony, Colonel Tran Van Dung - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Border Guard Command - congratulated the soldiers for successfully completing their training mission.

At the same time, when assigned to agencies and Border Guard stations in border areas, soldiers must always maintain a firm stance and ideology, continuously study and improve their political qualities and professional qualifications.

Along with that, promote the sense of discipline and self-awareness in performing tasks; apply learned knowledge into practical work to successfully complete assigned tasks, contributing to firmly protecting national border security and sovereignty.

On this occasion, the Provincial Border Guard Command awarded certificates of merit to 2 groups and 30 individuals who excellently completed the training task in 2025.
