On the afternoon of September 8, Coach Okiyama Masahiko announced the list of 23 Vietnamese U17 women's players to attend a training trip in Germany tomorrow, within the framework of the "Bundesliga Dream" program. This is a cooperation program between the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Germany.
With two weeks of training at Borussia Dortmund and Werder Bremen, the program promises to give young players a valuable opportunity to compete, learn and develop in the most modern football environment in Europe.
During the training period, the Vietnam U17 women's team is expected to have friendly matches with the youth teams of Borussia Dortmund and Werder Bremen women's clubs.
In addition, the team will also participate in study sessions, professional exchanges and experience German culture, contributing to improving the skills, competitive spirit as well as the spirit of international integration for young players.

Coach Okiyama Masahiko of the Vietnam U17 women's team said the trip aimed at three important goals.
The first is to learn world- class German football through matches. The second is to experience foreign culture, customs, climate as well as adapt to long tours with time zone differences to become strong players.
At the same time, actively participate in international exchanges, make friends and exchange knowledge with many players from different football backgrounds.
The Japanese coach emphasized that overseas tours, especially in Europe with time zone differences, when the players are young and have the ability to adapt quickly, will bring invaluable experience.
This is also a great opportunity for them to experience world-class football firsthand in Germany, thereby maturing significantly as national team players.
Coach Okiyama Masahiko sent a message: in football as well as in life, proactively accepting challenges and being ready to experience both failure and success will help each player gradually achieve maturity.
The Vietnam U17 women's team is a group of players who just ranked third at the 2025 Southeast Asian U16 Women's Football Championship in Indonesia.
After a training trip in Germany, the Vietnam U17 women's team will compete in the 2026 Asian U17 Women's Qualifiers in Binh Duong this October. The team is in Group D with Hong Kong and Guam.
The top eight teams from eight groups will qualify for the finals, joining the four teams that competed at the 2025 Women's U17 World Cup: North Korea, Japan, South Korea and China.
The top four teams of the 2026 AFC U17 Women's Championship finals in China will qualify for the 2026 U17 Women's World Cup in Morocco.
