After the 2-0 victory over U17 Qatar, U17 Vietnam had a training trip to Japan. Here, coach Hoang Anh Tuan's team faced opponents of increasing difficulty. Overall, the team is still on the right track.

In the first match a few days ago, U17 Vietnam won 3-1 against Keisekan High School team.

On the afternoon of May 28, we continued to win with the same score against U18 Honda FC.

Just like the match with Keisekan High School, U17 Vietnam played 3 rounds, each round lasting 30 minutes against U18 Honda FC.

Quoc Trung, Dinh Thuong and Long Vu were the players who scored to help U17 Vietnam win.

In the next two matches, U17 Vietnam will face more difficult challenges, respectively Tokoha University (May 31) and Shizuoka University (June 2).

Due to the nature of friendly matches, the win-loss result is not considered a comprehensive measure of a team's expertise.

The important thing is that coach Hoang Anh Tuan has conducted experiments, checked and evaluated the strengths and weaknesses of his players, from which he has made adjustments to aim for the main goal of the 2023 AFC U17 Championship.

The team will return home on June 5. After that, the whole team will go to Thailand to participate in the final round of the U17 Asian Cup.

In this tournament, U17 Vietnam will face U17 India (June 17), U17 Japan (June 20) and U17 Uzbekistan (June 23) in Group D. The four teams that reach the semi-finals of the U17 Asian tournament will participate in the U17 World Cup.
